Connecting the Dots - Broadband is Everybody's Business This session will look at the state of broadband in New Mexico and the goals and purposes of the BEAD and Digital Equity programs. It will also look at how the state is developing their BEAD and Digital Equity plans and how stakeholders can work with the broadband office to provide input, find information on resources and future funding opportunities, technical assistance and other critical information.
Community Spotlight: Mobilizing for Connectivity Learn how our communities are working to connect their residents.
Morning Panel 1 (10:45 am - 11:30 am) Digital Access Challenges & Solutions for New Mexico There is no one-size-fits-all approach to addressing the unique digital equity challenges in the state. Panelists will discuss some of the critical challenges communities face with regard to broadband adoption and use and how to focus efforts to address those challenges. Morning Panel 2 (11:30 pm - 12:15) Workforce Development Strategies for New Mexico This panel will focus on workforce development needs and how the state can develop strategies to meet current and future needs while creating a path to economic success for its residents.
