The April 27th groundbreaking ceremony will start at 10:30AM at Midway ES
(9 Midway Rd, Polvadera NM 87828)

The Agenda includes:

1. 10:00am - Gathering and networking
2. 10:30am Socorro HS Band opening
3. 10:35am – Greetings and welcome by Superintendent Ron Hendrix
4. 10:40am - Pledge of Allegiance by Principal
5. 10:45am – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham: Remarks about importance of broadband for rural New Mexico
6. 11:00am – PED Secretary - Future of technology in schools to prepare New Mexico students for the jobs of tomorrow (invited)
7. 11:10am – Local/state Elected officials
   Remarks: Investments in broadband for New Mexico’s future
8. 11:25am – Students, Board President and Community members on the difficulties of lack of connectivity and looking forward to a new school year and blazing fast broadband at the school and within the community
9. 11:45am – Groundbreaking event: Students, Governor, PED Secretary & teachers
10. 12:00pm refreshments & networking
